What commission tier do I start at?
Everyone starts at Standard (20%). When you refer 6+ traders in a month you move to Silver (25%), and to Gold (30%) at 16+ — we check at each monthly statement. Early affiliates who apply now get 25% for their first 3 months regardless of volume.
Do I need to disclose that I'm a paid affiliate?
Yes — this is a legal requirement under FTC guidelines (16 CFR Part 255). Any time you promote CopyTrade and you receive or may receive compensation, you must clearly disclose that relationship to your audience. This applies to YouTube videos, social media posts, blog articles, Discord messages, and all other content. A clear statement like "I earn a commission if you sign up using my link" at the start of your content satisfies this requirement. CopyTrade requires this disclosure as a condition of the affiliate program.
When do I get paid?
Monthly payouts on the 1st of each month via PayPal or bank transfer. Minimum payout threshold is $50.
How long does attribution last?
Once someone signs up through your link, the credit stays on their account for good — if they stay subscribed for 3 years, you earn commission for 3 years. The link itself must be clicked within 90 days before they sign up, on the same browser.
Is there a minimum audience size?
No. Quality over quantity — a small engaged audience of futures traders is worth more than a large general audience.
Do you provide marketing materials?
Yes — on request we send screenshots and talking points, and we can extend your trial so you can demo CopyTrade to your audience.
What if my referral cancels and resubscribes?
If they resubscribe within 90 days you retain attribution. After 90 days attribution resets.
