TRADINGVIEW → RITHMIC

Automate TradingView Alerts on Rithmic Accounts

Your prop firm gave you a Rithmic login: Take Profit Trader, MyFundedFutures, Bulenox, Apex on Rithmic and others. CopyTrade turns your TradingView strategy's alerts into real orders on those accounts, with the stop-loss and take-profits placed for you.

HOW IT WORKS

Set Up Once, Then It Runs Without You

1

Accept Rithmic's agreements in R|Trader Pro, once

Log into R|Trader Pro one time with your Rithmic username and password and accept the agreements. Rithmic blocks every outside app until you do. Note which System you logged into.

2

Add the account in CopyTrade

Enter your Rithmic username, password, Account ID and the same System. Several accounts on one login? Add each one with its own Account ID.

3

Point your TradingView alert at your CopyTrade webhook

Each time your strategy enters, CopyTrade places the order on every account that's switched on. Send the continuous symbol (MGC1!, MNQ1!) and the current contract month is picked for you.

ℹ CopyTrade connects to Rithmic from its own servers. You don't need NinjaTrader, R|Trader Pro or a VPS running, and your computer can be off. TradingView webhooks need a paid TradingView plan.
TRADE MANAGEMENT

Real Orders at the Exchange, From the Moment You Enter

As soon as the entry fills, CopyTrade places your exits as real resting orders, priced from the actual fill:

STOP-LOSS

A real stop order for the full position. It stays at the exchange even if CopyTrade goes offline.

TP1 — PARTIAL EXIT

A limit order for the contracts you want out at your first target.

BREAKEVEN AFTER TP1

When TP1 fills, the stop is replaced with one for the remaining contracts at entry plus your buffer.

TP2 — FINAL TARGET

A limit order for the rest. Whichever exit fills last, the leftover orders are cancelled.

YOUR NUMBERS

P&L the Way Your Firm Counts It

Closed trades are booked after commission, using the rate from your Rithmic account's own risk settings. Each trade shows what closed it: TP1, TP2, the stop, the breakeven stop, or a close from outside CopyTrade.

Set a daily profit target or daily loss limit per account. They're checked against Rithmic's own day P&L, including open positions, and CopyTrade closes the account's positions when one is reached.

⚠ Check that your prop firm allows automated trading on your account type before you connect it.
FAQ

Questions About TradingView + Rithmic

Do I need NinjaTrader, R|Trader Pro or a VPS running?

No. CopyTrade connects to Rithmic directly from its own servers. You only open R|Trader Pro once, to accept Rithmic's agreements. After that your computer can be off.

Which Rithmic system do I choose?

The same System you pick when you log into R|Trader Pro. For most prop firm accounts that's Rithmic Paper Trading.

I have several accounts on one Rithmic login. Can they all trade?

Yes. Add each account separately with the same username and password and a different Account ID. Each one trades its own size, with its own stop and targets.

Do I need to change the symbol when contracts roll?

No. Send the continuous symbol, such as MGC1! or MNQ1!, and CopyTrade picks the current contract month for you.
